Philodendron ‘Sun Red’ has showy leaves that emerge bright red and change to reddish-purple and finally green as the plant ages. The leathery leaves have an upright habit only growing 1-2’ tall, so it’s an ideal plant for a partially sunny location in your home. Like other philodendrons, ‘Sun Red’ acts as an air purifying plant to filter toxins from your indoor air. This low maintenance aroid adds color and beauty wherever it’s grown.
Special Note: Depending on environmental conditions, the new leaves can emerge lighter and may appear more orange than red. They will darken as the leaves mature.
