Are you looking for an unusual plant to bring enjoyment and whimsy to your gardening endeavors? Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ or Corkscrew Albuca has thick, tightly curled leaves on short stems that arise from an underground bulb. Fragrant yellow flowers appear in spring on flower spikes that are adorned with 10-20 blooms per spike. The blossoms have a light vanilla fragrance. Grow in full sun and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. There are no pest or disease problems with ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ so it makes an ideal home garden plant that’s distinctive and eye-catching.

Special Note to Customers: Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ is a spring bloomer. When it sends up flower stalks, it often causes the tips of the leaves to brown. This is a natural occurrence. If you don’t want this to happen, simply remove the flower stalks as soon as they start to grow to prevent leaf tip browning.

It vame with brown tips and some brown leaves i am afraid it will die off

this plant came in almost perfect condition with a huge caudex and lots of spirals. honestly it was bigger than I had anticipated. a few of the longer spirals had turned pink/red and eventually dried up and needed to be removed. I attributed this to the shock of the shipment as the rest of the plant looks amazing. thanks logee's!

I had forgotten the name of this plant,so had to look it up...My plant is not as full as shown in the catalog, but is now blooming and quite an interesting speciman...The blooms will be mostly white, i think, the buds are still opening. Love the novelty of it.

Amazing little curly plant

I absolutely love this plant. It was shipped and packaged very nicely. It arrived very healthy. I will definitely get more amazing plans s from logees.

beautiful plant but not growing well for me

It arrived well packaged and in great shape (with flowers!!!). I was very much looking forward to seeing it grow but i fear that my home simply can't provide the level of bright sun that it needs. I will be giving it to a friend in the hopes that it can survive in a different location. It really is a wonderful, unique plant.
