This plant is probably easiest to grow from subtropicals I have. Doesn't produce many berries in zone 7a (Maryland), but produce one after another, beginning with summer outdoors and continuing at fall and even winter in indoor greenhouse. Berries are tasty.
Care for these plants is fairly easy. It has a graceful growth habit and entering my second summer I'm looking forward to the possibility of fruit. Beautiful growth habit and fun to grow!
I bought my plant April of 2015. The plant has not gotten much bigger. A little less that 12 inches. This past month I got my first cherry. Oh, did I baby it. It grew slow but one day it was red and ready to eat. I was not expecting it to be sooooo good!!!!!!. I cannot wait to harvest more!!!!!
Keep this guy wet, I let my first one go too dry and killed it. But the one I have now got pretty big. Its kinda slow but ohhh man I love the fruit.
