I purchased this plant in July as a tiny 1 foot tall (including leaves) plant and it has grown vigorously and is now 4 feet tall (including leaves) and very healthy. It has produced it's first offshoot (pup) and the leaves are now about 3 feet long. Bananas are really fun to grow because you can literally track their growth daily. I have mine in a large fabric pot in an attached greenhouse and the plant was pest free when it came to me and apart from spider mites during the hottest part of the summer, has been pest free. The cigar leaves on this variety have a mauve blush to them which is very nice (and I gather unique to this variety) before they unfurl, and it has added about 1 leaf a week since I've had it, although with the shorter days and cooler weather (and larger leaves it is producing) that's stretching out to about 1 1/2 weeks/leaf.

Banana Plant ‘Dwarf Iholena’ (Musa hybrid)
Here’s a rare and wonderful tasting new dwarf banana variety from Hawaii. ‘Dwarf Iholena’ has short, broad leaves and the fruit grows in a compact, stocky bunch. In Hawaii, it is enjoyed fresh as a dessert quality banana and also used for cooking when fully ripe. It grows quickly during the warm summer months and will reach a height of 5-8’ tall in just a couple of months.
