This Award of Merit winner from the American Orchid Society has large 6” flowers with pink petals and a deeper pink ruffled lip with yellow and red highlights in the throat. ‘Mishima’ usually blooms in spring or summer and the flowers last 2-3 weeks. The flowers have a delightful fragrance that fill the room when in full bloom. We ship a blooming size plant not necessarily in spike.

Tips for Success:

• They grow from rhizomes with the newest growth creating  the next flowers or re-bloom.• High light is one of the keys to creating flower buds to form.• Grow in some direct sunlight.• Maintain root health. Adhere to proper watering.• Allowing the potting media to dry down between waterings  and then thoroughly saturate.• These varieties need higher light than Phalaenopsis.
