Desert Rose ‘Immortality’ (Adenium obesum hybrid)

Plants with black flowers are rare and adenium growers have been hybridizing some sensational new varieties in the past couple of years. ‘Immortality’ is a new hybrid with full, double flowers that have maroon-black inner petals and red outer petals. The flowers have a slight frill at the edge of each petal and the colors become darker as the flowers age. The unusual flowers of ‘Immortality’ make it a worthwhile addition to any succulent collection. Desert Rose plants need warm, sunny conditions for optimum growth and flowering. ‘Immortality’ is a ready-to-bloom, two-year-old, grafted plant with a thickened caudex.
