Fockea edulis on Trellis (Fockea edulis)
Here’s an interesting caudiciform plant that makes an unusual houseplant. Fockea edulis has a gray caudex made from twisted and tuberous roots and long thin branches that climb up the 10” wooden trellis. Whitish-green flowers often appear in summer. It is partially deciduous losing some of the small green leaves in winter. Grow in partial sunlight and water regularly from spring to fall but reduce watering in winter during dormancy. Fockea edulis is being sold with the 10” wooden trellis as shown in the photo. Decorative pot is not included.
