Miniature Oakleaf Fig (Ficus pumila ‘Quercifolia’)

One of the best miniature ground covers for container culture, this small version of the creeping fig is perfect for terrarium culture where it thrives under low light and high humidity. Useful as a hanging plant, grown in a tabletop planter or used as a ground cover for larger plants, the vining stems spill over the pot’s edge forming a dense mat. It prefers even moisture and modest amounts of fertilizer. The indented leaves resemble tiny oak leaves.
