This large and floriferous hybrid has remarkable traits. It's vigorous and fragrant with spectacular tones of color. The deep, rich purple is highlighted by the full and ruffled corona. This cross between P. edulis, P. incarnarta and P. cincinnata is far superior to others with similar parentage not only in flower color, but also size. It is over 4" in diameter. A collaborative work between Roland Fischer and Carolee Anita Boyles.

A Star is Born!

This Passiflora Hybrid line quickly solidified itself as my personal favorite from among a few of the other hybrid lines offered by Logee's.

Growth has been steady, leading to sturdy solid woody vines over time. The foliage at times takes on a deep green hue which is an excellent backdrop for the star-stunning floral display. Buds take time to mature before opening, but I found that once opened they stay on display for well over 24 hours. Photos do not do the flowers justice, the intricate detail and size of these blooms is top-notch. The scent is a nice bonus to an already stellar plant.
