This cherished vintage Rose Scented Geranium ‘True Rose’ traveled across the country in the colonial days with the early pioneers who valued its lovely rose fragrance. It remains a favorite today for potpourris, rose cakes, rose syrups or essential oils that are said to promote relaxation and relieve stress. A facial astringent made with rose oil helps to heal skin and may reduce the signs of aging. Small pink flowers appear on the tips of the branches in late spring or early summer.
