I've had my dwarf Cavendish almost four years now. It's a beautiful plant, and it's very healthy, but it hasn't given me any bananas yet. It has 3 "baby trees," so maybe it's too crowded? I tend to go light on the fertilizer, so maybe I need to increase the dose? This is the year I improve growing conditions and feeding!

I bought this plant on a visit to Logee's this summer, and MY how it has grown--already! I potted it up and will overwinter it in a coolish greenhouse--hopeful that I can coax some fruit out of it next summer. Logee's is the BEST!
Again Logees come through with great service and plant. Received a little plant in June, by December it is 2' tall with a trunk as large as my arm, with lovely large leaves. I would say the pride of my indoor garden, but still can't beat my 7' 5 yr old allspice (also from Logees) but is a close second. The best tropical plant company out there.
