Bergamot Sour Orange Tree imparts the distinctive flavor to Earl Grey tea, a black tea that’s infused with oil from the rind. This fragrant citrus is grown throughout the Mediterranean and it’s an excellent subject for containers. The fruit is somewhat pale in color has a sour flesh but a highly aromatic rind, that’s used for flavoring, essential oil and perfume. The pulp can be eaten and used as a lemon. This is a grafted plant that blooms and fruits sooner.
