I have had mine on a windowsill at work facing northeast in a 6" terra cotta pot for three years. It bloomed the first year, but has gotten even more impressive in each subsequent year. People come into my office just to admire it when it is flowering. This year, what I presume are seed pods are starting to appear on some of the flowers' bases after they have faded away. I plan to let them mature and see if they're viable. One other point, at times I've been away and not able to water it in a timely manner. It has looked wilted to the point I was afraid it couldn't be saved, but when watered it goes back to looking healthy within a few hours.
I've had this Streptocarpus for a couple of months. It came with a few buds, and continues to flower. The current bloom is larger than the previous blooms and large for the size of the plant. I have a many Streptocarpus. This is one of my favorites
