6" Pot Size Grafted Plant

This superior Thailand mango is the most sought after mango variety in Asia for its sweet, delicious flavor and juicy, fiberless fruit. The fruit has an elongated shape that tapers to a point and ripens to golden yellow. It’s considered by many to be the best tasting, dessert quality mango. The fruit ripens from summer to fall depending on your climate. Mangoes can be eaten green or ripe. We prefer to harvest them once they ripen to golden yellow. They may be eaten as fresh fruit and are also tasty in fruit salads, desserts or juices.Grow in a large pot and move outside for the summer in northern zones or plant directly in the ground in warm climates. ‘Nam Doc Mai’ is a prolific fruiter. This is a grafted plant that blooms and fruits sooner.

my dream Mongo trees.

ordered 2 on 06/09/2020 with 2 day shipping. received on 06/13/2020. both the new leaves showing moderate to severe distress and wrinkled. the dark green leaves looking good still. both were about 1' to 1.5' in hight. I watering them right away as instructed. the new leaves still struggling but not dead yet. the mature dark green leaves looking normal. I put it in partial sun area today (3rd day after received them). hope they both lives. I'll give an update few weeks/months later. holding one star back now depending on the lives of the tress. overall, it's good so far.

Mango blossoms!

I received my Nam Doc Mai mango in late July 2018, it didn't seem to grow very much but a few weeks ago it put forth 3 bracts of blossoms! The plant is only about 1.5 feet tall so it seems unlikely that mangos will develop, but still, after only a year it is blooming. Some of the leaves have brown on the tips, but this is likely due to (my) user error. I recommend this tree, even for growing indoors in a cold climate.
