Baptisia ‘Aurora’ PP (Baptisia hybrid)

Young flowers emerge yellow but change to a lovely purple as the flowers mature transitioning from the bottom of the spike to the top. The tall flower spikes show off a dazzling array of color on the upright shrub creating a sensational flowering masterpiece when in full bloom. The flowering season starts in May and goes on for 2-3 weeks with an additional week or two fade period before the seed pods arrive. Baptisia is a well-known pollinator plant.
