Foxglove ‘Arctic Fox Rose’ PP (Digitalis hybrid)
Spikes of tubular,
rose-pink flowers
with light pink speckled
throats rise up on
strong upright stems
from late spring through
late summer. ‘Arctic Fox
Rose’ flowers the first
year and every following
year since unlike many
older foxglove varieties
it is not a biennial
bloomer. Remove spent
flowers to encourage
new flowering shoots
throughout the summer.
In trial gardens, ‘Arctic Fox Rose’ has proven to be a very good bloomer
with a nice uniform habit. It’s also a magnet for pollinators like bees, butterflies
and hummingbirds.
