Hoya pubicalyx (Hoya pubicalyx)

Hoya pubicalyx (Hoya pubicalyx)

Hoya pubicalyx (Hoya pubicalyx)

With a long history as an indestructible houseplant, this vigorous growing hoya will climb up any support and then gracefully cascade over the pot’s edge with its deep green lanceolate leaves. Hoya pubicalyx leaves often have a flecking of silvery variegation and the clusters of fragrant reddish-purple star-shaped flowers give off a mocha nighttime scent. Blooms will reappear repeatedly, flowering off the old flower spurs for years to come. This hoya was formerly sold under the name Hoya purpuresfusca but it is now classified as Hoya pubicalyx.
