‘Pink Lemonade’ is a promising
new blueberry variety to add to
your hardy fruit garden. White and
pink flowers appear in spring and by
mid-summer, small greenish-white fruit
start to appear that gradually mature
to light pink and dark pink when ready
for harvest. These pink blueberries are
some of the sweetest you’ve ever tasted- nearly twice as sweet as regular blueberries
but with all the vitamins and antioxidants that make blueberries a healthy
addition to every diet. As an added benefit, ‘Pink Lemonade’ will continue fruiting
until October after you’ve harvested the large first crop in late summer. ‘Pink
Lemonade’ is self-fertile so it will produce fruit without a cross pollinator. Grow
in full sun in well-drained acidic soil. Hardy in zones 4-8.
