Jujube Coco™ is a hardy
fruiting plant with contorted
branches, fine lacy foliage and
small fragrant white flowers that
bloom in mid-summer. The fruit
ripens in October with an abundant
crop of golden-brown fruit
that has a coconut-like flavor.
Plants are partially self-fertile. It
will set fruit if planted alone, but planting two different varieties ensures heavier
crops. Jujube fruit is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and it may be
eaten fresh or dried as a healthy snack.
