Begonia ‘Snow Capped’ (Begonia fibrous hybrid)
The foliage of this magnificent Angel Wing carries the most intense silver spotting of any in our collection. Clusters of rose-red blooms drape from the tightly held foliage, creating a masterpiece of beauty. A restrained growth habit creates a full presentation that lends itself admirably to basket culture. For the best possible display of flowers, some direct sunlight is needed

  1. Dramatic foliage, good blossom Review by Chris
How do you rate this product?

This is an easy, healthy begonia that thrives for me summer and winter. I find that angel-wing types often have leaf patterns so subtle they don't really draw notice. Not so here! It really earns its name, and is dramatic even in big groups of plants on my terrace. It puts up with all my winter neglect, too. It does seem a little sensitive to cold -- don't leave it out as autumn cools (like I did), the leaves can yellow and drop. It's now recovering nicely in an east window, though. (Posted on 10/10/2017)
