The plant arrived in excellent condition. Potted it up in a heavy grit, cactus soil mix and placed near an east facing window. For the first few weeks it was doing ok, with occasional leaves drooping over (and sometimes coming back up). Lately, more leaves have drooped over and most leaves have brown tips. Love the plant, trying to nurse it back by drying it out and giving it more light.
so far so good. very green and growing very fast. doesnt have its permenant home yet but soon
It vame with brown tips and some brown leaves i am afraid it will die off
Good afternoon,
Thank you for reaching out! We're sorry to hear that your plant arrived with some browning tips. Albuca ‘Frizzle Sizzle’ is a spring bloomer. When it sends up flower stalks, it often causes the tips of the leaves to brown. With concerns surrounding the condition upon arrival, however, please feel free to reach out to our customer service department, with a photo, and we'd be happy to assess the plant for you!
this plant came in almost perfect condition with a huge caudex and lots of spirals. honestly it was bigger than I had anticipated. a few of the longer spirals had turned pink/red and eventually dried up and needed to be removed. I attributed this to the shock of the shipment as the rest of the plant looks amazing. thanks logee's!
I had forgotten the name of this plant,so had to look it up...My plant is not as full as shown in the catalog, but is now blooming and quite an interesting speciman...The blooms will be mostly white, i think, the buds are still opening. Love the novelty of it.
