Logee's Rare Plant Day is Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 9am to 5pm. It will feature a wide variety of rare and unusual plants on display and for sale, with many one-of-a-kind specimens being offered. Several local artisan vendors will have outdoor booths, plus there will be live musical entertainment and delicious food, coffee, beverages, and botanical cocktails available. Our 6 tropical greenhouses will be open to explore and we'll have outdoor plant sale tents. Rain or shine! Free Admission!

RARE PLANT ROOM (open 10am-5pm)

Our Rare Plant Room will feature a wide variety of plants for purchase, including Aroids, Cactus & Succulents, Ferns, Fruiting Plants, Gesneriads, Hoyas, Orchids, and more! Many plants are one-of-a-kind! The Rare Plant Room opens to the public at 10 am.*Check back for more details and a sneak peek at the plants!*

JUNGLE HOUSE

Our Jungle House will feature large and mature plant specimens for sale. Some very large plants will be available, so bring a truck!

We will have multiple Plant Sale Tents featuring plants at discounted prices starting at $9.95!

PARKING / SHUTTLE BUS

  • ADA Accessible Parking will be available next door to Logee's in the Carelot Day Care parking lot.
  • Please note: there is NO parking directly across the street from Logee's: that parking lot belongs to a private residence. Also, parking along North Street will not be permitted during the event.
  • A complimentary shuttle bus service will provide transportation to and from 2 nearby parking lots. The shuttle bus stops in front of Logee’s, circulating every 15-20 minutes from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm to these locations:
  1. Ellis Technical High School - 613 Upper Maple St, Danielson CT
  2. Killingly School District Central Office - 79 Westfield Ave, Danielson CT

  • Due to the unique nature of this event, during Rare Plant Day additional special discounts, including Logee's Bucks coupons, are non-valid, and all sales are final with no guarantees, returns, refunds, or exchanges.
  • During Rare Plant Day Logee's accepts cash, major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and checks. Individual craft & food vendors may accept different forms of payment. ATMs are available at nearby banks: bankHometown (3 Central St), Key Bank (203 Main St), and Bank of America (304 Main St)
