Pamela It looks healthy but be prepared for a very small starter plant probably years from a caudex.

PineconeNugget When I learned of this plant, I had to have one. It was not until after I purchased my Perrieri that I learned that most that are for sale have been poached from the wild. With that said, it appears to me that Logee's sources their plants ethically as the one I received was very clearly a new plant with a tiny little caudex. These plants cannot be grown from cuttings so any plant you see for sale is either planted from seed or poached and given the size and price of this plant compared to the market rate I think Logee's may be one of very few ethical sources.

Cindee Ordered 7/18/19 and got it today (7/24/19)...It is beautiful (3 stems) lots of leaves..... No caudex showing yet, so will return as the caudex shows....to give more for the review........so far it is great.

Allison I didn't realize how delicate this plant is when I ordered it in Phoenix in July and when I took it out of the box it looked a little wilted and sad from being shipped in the heat. About half the leaves were browning probably from the heat, and I didn't have high expectations but I figured it was my own fault for buying it in the middle of summer. Over the first week I took off several leaves, cut one whole vine (out of 3 coming from the soil), and pruned other little pieces of the plant as it withered. There's not a lot of care information for this plant so I just put it under a grow light for 12 hours per day and near a humidifier that runs for 8 hours at night and I water it when dry. It's been about four weeks and I can't believe the transformation. Every little leaf node where the leaves fell or had to be pruned now has a little cluster of 3-5 leaves. It is growing so fast! The leaves are bigger every day and I have been loving watching this thing grow, especially because I thought it wasn't going to make it.

Nicholas I have really enjoyed this plant and its unique caudex. After receiving it and allowing it to grow on its own for a while without training it the vines got really long, but slightly out of hand. I cut it back pretty severely and it grew again within a very short amount of time. I decided to train it on a little trellis and it has grown really well. I decided to cut it back again as the leaves were looking pretty upset and dropping. I gave this plant 4/5 stars because I only wish there was a more detailed description of plant care. Otherwise, it has been a really interesting and unique plant.
