Buddleia
‘Grand
Cascade’ has
huge lavender
flower panicles
that are
12-14” long
and 4” wide
with fragrant,
nectar-rich flowers that cascade downward in a weeping fashion. Butterflies,
bees and hummingbirds will delight in these honey-scented blossoms. ‘Grand
Cascade’ flowers in late summer and early fall. This new introduction from the
breeding program of Walter’s Gardens was developed by crossing Buddleia
davidii with Buddleia lindleyana. In the winter, it often dies back to the ground
in colder zones but since it blooms on new wood, you’ll have plenty of flowers
to enjoy the following year.
