From South Africa comes this spiny, easy-to-grow succulent that has
curious flowers which grow like little hats off the upright stems. Flower colors
range from light tan to brighter salmon-pink and they can reach up to 3” across.
Grow in well-drained soil, in full to partial sun, and expect to see an array of
blooms in springtime on this unique succulent. Bushman's Hat flowers are known for their carrion odor which attracts flies for pollination. Stapelias are a close relative.
