Calathea Warscewiczii (Calathea warscewiczii)

Calathea Warscewiczii (Calathea warscewiczii)

Calathea Warscewiczii (Calathea warscewiczii)

Velvety green leaves have decorative, dark green banding throughout the leaves and purple undersides. In late winter and early spring, white flower bracts emerge, on tall spikes, with white petals arising from inside the cone. The flowers last 3-4 weeks. Grow in partial sun to shade outside or bright, indirect light inside. The leaves of Calathea Warscewiczii are thin so hot sun and high winds can cause tip burn. This plant doesn’t like high salt fertilizers or chlorine in the water. Keep the soil evenly moist to help this beautiful calathea to thrive.
