Holiday Cactus ‘Christmas Flame’ (Schlumbergera hybrid)

Originally a sport of Schlumbergera ‘Gold Charm,' ‘Christmas Flame’ has purple-tinted buds that open as golden-yellow blossoms. A mid-season bloomer, it flowers during the short days of November. ‘Christmas Flame’ is a large plant with a trailing growth habit so it makes a sensational hanging basket. After a schlumbergera is done flowering for the season, give it a month rest period when you water sparingly. In the spring, once it begins actively growing, resume your normal water and fertilizer schedule and prune if necessary. Schlumbergera ‘Christmas Flame’ will bloom this year.
