‘Orange Bourbon’ is a heritage coffee variety that produces orange fruit and a high-quality cup of coffee. Many commercial coffee varieties have been bred using this cultivar of Coffea arabica that originated from the Ile Bourbon now called Reunion Island, east of Madagascar. The conical-shaped, bushy tree produces good yields of large round cherries. Like most coffees, it makes a wonderful indoor fruiting plant. Fragrant white flowers are followed by shiny orange fruit that conceal the coffee beans.
