Desert Rose ‘Carnation’ (Adenium hybrid)
Frilly, maroon petal edges highlight the white petals on the attractive double flowers that bloom from spring to fall on this popular Desert Rose. ‘Carnation’ is easy to grow and bloom for beginners or expert gardeners. Fertilize when in active growth during the warm summer months. Be careful not to overwater and grow in a well-drained cactus potting mix. This is a grafted, ready-to-bloom, two-year-old plant with a thickened caudex.
Please note: This adenium is a grafted plant that blooms sooner and is true to variety name. Adeniums may arrive dormant or semi-dormant from October-March, with little or no foliage; but don’t worry- each spring they will put out new leaves!
