Related to the Sensitive Plant, Lucky Bean Plant is often grown as an
indoor houseplant that’s tall and stately reaching 4-6’ high in a large container.
This rare plant sprouts from large green seeds that sit on the surface of the soil
and provide nutrients for the leaves and stems while the plant is young. In its
native Australia, it is a medium-sized tree with glossy green leaves and yellow
and red flowers that bloom in spring. After the flowers pass, large seed pods
develop. Grow in full to partial sun in well-draining soil.
