Plants with black leaves are rare in nature. That's why Philodendron 'Pink Princess' is so unique. It's a rare black-leaf philodendron with hot pink variegation. The young leaves emerge as a dark olive-green with white variegation, maturing to a deep black with bright pink spots. The variegation is highly visible. More light can create brighter colors in its variegation, but be careful not to put it in full sun. Grow in bright indirect light indoors or a shady location outdoors. This philodendron prefers moist but well-drained soil and some humidity. As a vining plant, it should be grown on a stake or trellis.

The 'Pink Princess' Philodendron makes a great houseplant since it can survive in low-light conditions and tolerate dryness between waterings.
