‘Red Dancer’ is a new Logee’s exclusive brugmansia with gorgeous orangey-red flowers highlighted by golden stripes that add a colorful accent to each bloom. Flowers age to a beautiful purple-maroon color. The long fluted floral trumpets curl upward and have short showy tails. Blossoms pendulate off the upright stems giving the appearance of flowers dancing. ‘Red Dancer’ has excellent vigor and does better than its sanguinea parent under mid-summer heat. This rare and exclusive Angel’s Trumpet was hybridized in the UK by Hurstwood Brugmansias. Supplies are limited. Order early.

Chris Hind I bought a brugmansia sanguinea in morro bay last time I was up there and it's really difficult to acquire cold group brugmansia because they can mostly be grown in California coastal conditions or oregon and Washington. I had purchased one of these before but I am keeping it inside until the threat of caterpillar infestation is over now. Should grow nicely outdoors once the wet winter comes. The plant quality was great. More people should try to grow these in hermosa beach California.

Jay Plant arrived in perfect health, larger than expected. It's already doubled in size and flowering. The Flower color so far seems a bit less vibrant than in the photos but it's still a beautiful plant and am happy to have it.

Jan1 This plant arrived early November in a 4" pot and was about 12 inches tall. Followed the directions, watched their video and potted it into a gallon pot and placed it in a cool (50-65 degree) sunny window where it's going bonkers. 2 1/2 months later it is over 25 inches tall has one 3 inch bud with many more forming on new lower branches. It is ready for a larger pot.. Was somewhat (but not very) disappointed it may not be fragrant, but I bought it for the hummingbirds. I live in the cool NW and think it may be able to survive our winters outdoors with some protection. Thank you Logee's.
