Mathilda Oostveen I do love the great variety of plants you can findbut i do wish they sold plants bigger than a 2.5 inch pot. I love my begonis but it's basically 4 leaves with a small root system. It's the only place I could find this variety so it wasn't much of a choice.

We understand your concern about plant size. Many of our begonias and other specialty plants are grown and shipped in smaller pots (like 2.5') because they establish more successfully during transit and adjust better to new environments once they arrive. That said, we completely understand that a more mature plant can be more immediately satisfying.

LarsR This is an amazing plant that always gets a lot of attention when I do greenhouse tours. It's relatively easy to grow, but the one issues I have with this species, is that it is very susceptible to mildew. You really have to stay on top of it.
