Distinctive form and structure characterize this Brazilian species. The softly textured, oblong leaves are highly defined with radiating emerald-green veins against a deep green background. The backs of the leaves are red. This modest grower reaches a height of 12 to 16" with white flowers appearing summer through fall.

Anonymous The Begonias arrived so carefully packaged! I was very impressed. The plants are super healthy, and now after a couple of weeks getting acclimated are pushing out new growth. Soon, I'll re-pot them into a larger container. Thanks for such lovely plants.

Jay The leaves of this begonia are amazing! The light green veins glow against the dark green background and the glow is accentuated by the velvety trichomes on the leaf surface. The edge of the leaf has a great little light green dot where each vein meets the leaf edge, like little embedded jewels. The Plant arrived in excellent condition, like always from Logee's. I am working on my culture of the plant. :) I am always amazed by species and what has evolved at the hands of Natural Selection.
