Black Jade Vine (Mucuna nigricas)
Known for its large clusters of dark purple to almost black flowers, Black Jade Vine blooms in grapelike clusters. The magnificent floral cluster can reach 1’ in length with a 6” diameter. It blooms in winter and early spring. This fast growing vine needs lots of room so it is best to grow on a trellis for support or use a hanging basket and let the plant spill over the edge. Planted in the ground in southern zones, this vigorous vine can reach up to 50’ long. Black Jade Vine is a rare plant and we have a limited supply. Order early.
