Camellia ‘April Kiss’ (Camellia japonica hybrid)
Blooming in late winter to early spring, ‘April Kiss’ is the earliest bloomer of the “April” varieties. The formal double flowers are deep rose pink and about 3” wide. It’s cold hardy to zone 6b with a compact and upright habit. This prolific bloomer can also be grown inside as a container plant for gardeners in colder zones and it can easily be maintained at a shorter height by pruning.
