Desert Rose ‘Red’ (Adenium obesum)
Grown true from seed as a stabilized red, this strain of Desert Rose produces consistent deep red flowers with a well-formed caudex. They love it sunny, dry and warm, typical of their home in East Africa, and tolerate neglectful watering. When grown as a house plant, it's best to let the soil almost dry out between waterings. Remember, the more light the plant receives, and the smaller the pot size, the more frequent watering it will need for good growth.
