The Easter Cactus Collection includes one plant of Red ‘Scorpius’, Orange ‘Columba’ and White ‘Sirius’. Enjoy a profusion of springtime flowers and a delightful color treat with this array of Easter Cactus that bloom from March until May. Each flower lasts for several weeks, opening every morning after sunrise and closing at sundown. The iridescent, 2” star-shaped blooms are borne on the ends of the stems similar to Christmas cactus. In their native habitat, Rhipsalidopsis grow as epiphytes in the forests of Brazil and other South American countries. Easter Cactus like filtered light but no direct sunlight. They also need well-drained soil, moderate watering and fertilization. Keep plants cool and moist while in bloom to extend the flowering season. These plants are budded and will bloom this spring.

  • Red Easter Cactus 'Scorpius' – Bright red, 2" blooms arrive in profusion from March until May. Each flower lasts for several weeks, opening every morning after sunrise and closing at sundown. In their native habitat, rhipsalidopsis grow as epiphytes in the forests of Brazil and other South American countries.   • White Easter Cactus 'Sirius' PP – Exceptional flowering houseplants, Easter cactus have been used for generations to brighten the early spring window. ‘Sirius’, the only all-white cultivar with its distinctive star-shaped flowers, blooms between April and June with the flowering cycle lasting 2-4 weeks. In their native habitat, Rhipsalidopsis grow as epiphytes in the forests of Brazil and other South American countries, often in close proximity to schlumbergeras. They have similar cultural requirements: well-drained soil, moderate watering and filtered light but no harsh direct noonday sun. Keep the plant cool and moist when it's flowering to extend the flowering season.
