Polargreen™ is a revolutionary new Elephant Ear that’s hardy to zone 5. The medium-size green leaves grow atop pink stems so it makes an attractive specimen plant for the garden. It prefers to be grown in moist soil in full to partial sunlight. It does not produce a tuber and will die back to the ground in cold zones but return the following spring. If grown in a container, do not allow the container to freeze solid in winter or it will kill the plant. • Grow in full sun. The more sun the better, although they will   grow under varying light levels.• Fertilize moderately but be consistent. Too much feed can   burn the foliage.• In the summer water freely. They can be grown in water or at   the water's edge. • For container and garden planting keep evenly moist.• In winter, tubers can be dug and stored in a basement,   keeping some moisture around the root. Or grow inside as a   houseplant.
