One of our finest vining jasmine plants, ‘Flora Plena’ has fragrant, double white flowers that adorn this modest grower ten months of the year and only stop blooming during late winter. It’s beneficial to deadhead the faded flowers to encourage more blooming. French Perfume Jasmine flowers on the tips of new vines and should be grown in full sun on a trellis or support stake. Often seen in the perfume fields of southern France, the essential oil of this jasmine is very fragrant and used in perfumes. It can be added to bouquets for its sweet fragrance.

Tips for Success:
Remember, they are warm, lowland tropical plants and need a warm root system. The most vigorous is ‘Maid of Orleans.’ Slower growing varieties are ‘Flore Plena’ and ‘Grand Duke.’• Use clay pots to maintain healthy roots.• Bring soil to visual dryness between waterings.• Occasionally bring to a slight wilt between waterings.• Moderate amounts of fertilizer, not heavy feeders.• Stop feeding in winter.• All respond well to pruning; best not to prune in winter when growth is slow.

Jaji I have bought all the various jasmines that Logee's has. They have all arrived perfectly and well packaged. All of them have survived and done beautifully. Only one that I haven't been able to keep alive is Flora Plena. Over the last couple of years, I have ordered this plant more than once. Not sure what I am doing wrong. It's taken care of the exact same way as the rest of jasmines. Same potting soil and same watering schedule. Have called for help.
