Golden Brazilian Plume (Justicia carnea aurea)
Large plumes of golden yellow flowers appear from spring to fall on this upright grower. The 2” long , tubular, single flowers form a large plume that can reach up to 12” high. The shrub itself can grow 3-5’ tall in containers but its size is easily managed by pruning. It thrives in full or partial sun so it’s an ideal plant for conservatories, sunrooms, large sunny windows or on the patio in the warm summer months. It makes a spectacular garden plant in zones 9 and higher.
