Handwritten Greeting Card with your order - Meyer Lemon
Developed at South Dakota State University, ‘Valiant’ Grape is ideal for home gardens in northern zones since this self-fertile variety is cold hardy to zone 3 and has withstood winter temperatures up to 50 below zero. ‘Valiant’ is a prolific fruiter of delicious blue grapes with a flavor similar to Concond grapes. The fruit can be eaten fresh or made into juice, jelly or wine. ‘Valiant’ grapes start to ripen in late August, and each vine usually produces 10-15 pounds of fruit. Grapes need to be grown on a trellis and pruned annually to maintain good fruit quality. Fruiting canes can reach 8-10’ long.
