A Best of Show winner, ‘Bright Hope’ has large 7-9” flowers with a dark maroon eye in the center that transitions to vibrant pink with frilly yellow petal edges. By the second day, the flowers lighten but the dark center eye is still very pronounced. This tropical hibiscus plant has a nice, upright growth habit and it’s a prolific bloomer when temperatures are warm and sunny.

Tips for Success:

• Sun, sun and more sun.• They are warm-growing plants and suffer if subjected to cool temperatures over extended periods. As a rule, keep temperatures above 65°F, especially in the winter.• Water on visual soil dryness or plant wilt. Severe wilt can hurt them. Careful watering is critical during the winter or anytime when the light level is low and temperatures are cool.• Under high light and warm temperatures they are heavy feeders and need a balanced fertilizer applied on a regular basis. A fertilizer like Dyna Gro “Grow” 7-9-5 will help induce blooms.• Flowering varies widely between varieties. Full sun, warm temperatures, a balanced fertilizer and careful attention to watering will produce the best results for your hibiscus.

This is my fourth hibiscus all the way to Tampa

This is the fourth hibiscus I’ve ordered from you folks and wow it’s pretty expensive getting them to Florida. They’re beautiful plants. This one hasn’t bloom yet but it’s very healthy.

Outstanding Hibiscus

Bright Hope is a wonderful hibiscus.
I have mine growing in a 17" clay pot in full sun. It is now 3 years old and 4' tall. It's a strong, upright, vigorous plant, but I do live in Florida, so the climate is pretty much ideal. Its flower production is outstanding, and the picture is accurate. Gorgeous, striking, very large flowers! Mine often reach 8-10" in the spring and summer. I highly recommend Bright Hope.
