Plant Care

Tips for Success:Ā

• Sun, sun and more sun.• They are warm-growing plants and suffer if subjected to Ā  Ā cool temperatures over extended periods. As a rule, keep Ā  Ā temperatures above 65°F, especially in the winter.• Water on visual soil dryness or plant wilt. Severe wilt can hurt Ā  them. Careful watering is critical during the winter or anytime Ā  when the light level is low and temperatures are cool.• Under high light and warm temperatures they are Ā  heavy feedersĀ and need a balanced fertilizer applied Ā  on a regular basis. A fertilizer like Dyna Gro ā€œGrowā€ 7-9-5 will Ā  help induce blooms.• Flowering varies widely between varieties. Full sun, warm Ā  temperatures, a balanced fertilizer and careful attention to Ā  watering will produce the best results for your hibiscus.

A Continuous Surprise

I have been searching for this Hibiscus for some time. This hibiscus blooms with flowers that are such a joy to see. It can go from really yellow to vibrant pinks or pale yellow with a more intense purpleish center. Each blossom is uniqe and different. It lives in a pot outside in the sun in summer and in a bright window in winter and blooms inside as well!

Beautiful Color Hibiscus!!

This hibiscus did very well in our hot, rainy, Southern climate. It has a beautiful color bloom. Unfortunately a rare freeze got it. I would order again as the color of lavender and pink is so pretty!

Voodoo Queen is a beauty

She just opened up for me today. I've had her since April and due to the Texas Heat increasing she's finally has buds and starting to bloom. Her bloom is yellow and grey. I'm I pressed w/her coloring.

Lots of blooms, more yellowish for me but very pretty!

I ordered this from Logee's on 7/31/20 and received it shortly after and got my first bloom on 8/26/20 and more blooms shortly after. This is a very pretty flower that appears to be more yellow for me, but I'm not usually home first thing in the morning when these flowers open. I get home in the afternoon and by then, the heat has turned the flower into a multi-colored beauty with yellow edges, light purple toward the middle of the flower, and a dark maroon inside. Super pretty! My plant lives on my patio outdoors where it receives partial morning sunlight and I water it twice a day since the plant is in a small 6-inch pot that I have repotted it to, and the leaves of this plant is relatively large. It's thriving and doing very well! All hibiscus that I order from Logee's is doing very well!
