Easy to bloom and unique in its flower color, this native of the Philippines, like so many in the genus, is perfect for the indoor gardener. The flowers are shiny, bronzy-red with lighter centers and they form a dense cluster on the flower stems that rebloom over and over. The leaves are long and narrow with pronounced veining and the plant likes to ramble, so provide a stake or trellis and with a little encouragement you can keep the growth contained. The flowers are fragrant and appear on and off throughout the year.
