An excellent tropical fruiting plant for containers, this selection of Jaboticaba is early fruiting with flowers and fruit appearing when plants are 2-3’ tall. Unlike the standard Jaboticaba, which can take 5-12 years to fruit, ‘Precoce’ usually begins fruiting in its third year. Also known as the Brazilian Grape, the fruit forms on the old woody stems and ripens to a shiny black ball with a sweet interior pulp that surrounds the seed. It flowers and fruits on and off throughout the year and mature plants are highly productive.
Please note: Tip burn on the leaves is normal and does not affect how the plant grows, flowers, or fruits. Giving the plant rain water can help reduce tip burn.

Maria Kostouros I am very excited about this tree, it came packaged so carefully, not a single leaf was lost! So far, it has been with me for about a month, and seems to be doing well in a pot in a semi-sunny spot in the backyard. I will eventually plant it in the ground once I feel it is strong enough. Hopefully I will see it's full beauty (and fruit) soon!

Evan My Jaboticaba arrived in good condition with only a couple of brown spots on some leaves from being shipped a few days I assume. Other than that it has lots of green leaves and looked great. Customer service was quick and good as well
