Baldur Bear I bought my Mistletoe Fig years ago but decided I really needed to write a longterm review of this treasure. It is amazing.
My home is not hospitable to houseplants.... it is dark, and I mean very dark. We are in the woods and in a bit of a hollow. There is a small amount of morning sun but by mid-day it is indirect light at best. This charming plant keeps slowly chugging along. It always looks great and is always covered in berrylike (nonedible) green fruit. This plant is rather slow growing but even so I have pruned it back a few times mainly to shape it. When pruning lay a sheet of newspaper under the pot, the cuts will drip white latex sap for a few hours. It looks bonsai-ish now. She requires only very light feeding and an occasional tepid shower to keep her dust-free.
I keep the plant at about 12" across and maybe 10" tall, I think without pruning she would be maybe triple that by now.
I am happy to have purchased her.

Michael Texier I was looking for something on the miniature side that will do well in lower light areas. I spotted the fig after doing a search on the site. It came very well packaged and healthy. It’s a really nice and unique addition to my home that not everyone will have picked up from the local hardware store
