Pandorea ‘Golden Showers’ (Pandorea pandorana)

Pandorea ‘Golden Showers’ is well known for its long-lasting sprays of pendulous yellow flowers. When in full bloom, it puts on a spectacular floral show. The original selection of ‘Golden Showers’ was made at the Australian National Botanic Gardens, and it has proven to be slightly more cold and wind tolerant. Hardy to 25 degrees, the mature leaves are deep green with a flush of bronze tinge on the juvenile leaves. This evergreen vine is excellent for covering fences or grow on a trellis and prepare to be amazed when ‘Golden Showers’ blooms throughout the spring months. It’s commonly called Yellow Wonga Wonga Vine.
