Although perfectly happy growing with its feet in water, Paper Plant, also known as Papyrus, will thrive like any other plant when supplied average moisture. An unbelievably fast grower, small plants in spring will reach 5' or more in a single season and create large full specimens. One requirement for optimum growth is a full sun exposure, which keeps the tall stems stiff and rigid.
