Phaius ‘Orchtoberfest’ AM/AOS (Phaius microburst hybrid)
This Award of Merit winner from the American Orchid Society has fragrant, 2-3” wide flowers that appear on tall spikes from winter through spring. Blooms last 4-6 weeks. The flower petals are dusty rose with creamy white on the backsides and large frilly purple lips. Grow this terrestrial orchid in bright, indirect light or partial sunlight inside the home. Keep the sphagnum growing medium evenly moist at all times and fertilize once a week in the active growing season.
